HAYES WINS GMC TITLE — HAWKS FINISH RUNNER-UP!

Lakota East Boys Golf turned in an outstanding performance at the 2026 Greater Miami Conference Championships, finishing second overall after two days of competition at Glenview Golf Course.

The Thunderhawks posted a 36-hole team score of 608, finishing just two strokes behind conference champion Mason's 606 in a tightly contested battle for the GMC crown.

Leading the way was senior Brody Hayes, who captured the individual GMC Championship and earned 2026 GMC Player of the Year honors!

Hayes' championship performance highlighted an impressive showing throughout the East lineup.

Ethan Keller, Jack Hoover and Josh Harden joined Hayes in earning First Team All-GMC honors, while Zach Vogelgesang was named Second Team All-GMC.
