The Lakota East volleyball team returns 7 letterman and 2 starters from last year. Last year was a rebuilding year for the lady Hawks. This year they have the goal of winning the GMC title and going to the regionals in the District 16 tournament. The Hawks have a tough beginning schedule where they play the top teams in the district but will gives us a good idea of the talent the is built on this team. Lakota East will face off with their long time rival on Sept 8th. They will face other GMC teams such as Oak Hills, Mason, and Fairfield. Their coach has high expectations for this team and predicts that it is going to be a great season to be a volleyball fan of Lakota East.
