The Lakota East Boys Golf program is on quite a roll, having won the GMC Conference for a record 6th straight years before 2020, and 10 out of the last 15 years. We have had 5 straight State Championship Appearances, and return 4 starters from last years 7th place finish. Returning seniors are Ohio State commit Joe Wilson IV, coming off of a hot summer where he made match play at the USGA Jr. Am. East also has talented senior Tyler Sylla, who holds the school record with a 65. Cameron Uhl and Jacob Curry are the remaining seniors and have had very solid summers and look to make some noise this fall. Sophomore Nick Collins is rounding out the top 5.
After losing the GMC crown last year for the first time in 6 years, the Hawks are motivated to win that back, as well as make a deep post season run.
The team plays a very tough schedule and most events are set up much more difficult than the AJGA and GolfWeek events in our State.
