Lakota East continues through a demanding stretch of its schedule as the Thunderhawks prepare for the final weeks of the regular season.

East earned an impressive straight-set GMC victory over Princeton last week, taking the match 25-23, 25-23, 25-6. The Hawks then battled a strong Milford squad Saturday before falling in three competitive sets, 25-18, 25-18, 25-22.

East stands at 5-8 overall and 4-2 in the GMC, keeping the Thunderhawks firmly in the conference race with several important matches still ahead.

NEXT UP: The Hawks travel to Summit Country Day tonight before returning home Thursday for a major GMC matchup with Mason.
