HAWKS ARE HEADED TO DISTRICTS!

The postseason continues for Lakota East Boys Golf!

The Thunderhawks fired an outstanding 295 team score at the OHSAA Sectional Championships to finish second overall and punch their ticket to the OHSAA District Championship!

Senior Brody Hayes continued his tremendous season with a 72. Josh Harden and Brady Cecil each fired 74s, while Jack Hoover added a 75 to a terrific team performance.

The sectional success follows a stretch that saw East finish GMC runner-up by only two strokes, while Hayes captured the individual GMC Championship and GMC Player of the Year honors

East also finished second at the Best of the West Invitational, making this one of the strongest stretches of the season for the Thunderhawks.

NEXT UP: The Hawks will compete in the OHSAA District Championships on Monday, October 5, at Heatherwoode Golf Club
