Final Record: 9-4-5 Overall (6-2-1 GMC)

The Lakota East Boys Soccer team saw its 2026 season conclude Tuesday, October 27, following a hard-fought 1-0 loss to Walnut Hills in OHSAA postseason competition.

Despite the disappointing tournament result, the Thunderhawks have plenty to celebrate following another successful campaign.

Under Head Coach Jeremy Hilen, East finished with an impressive 9-4-5 overall record and a 6-2-1 mark in Greater Miami Conference play.

The Thunderhawks were particularly strong down the stretch, closing the regular season with three consecutive victories, including a 9-0 Senior Night win over Colerain and a 3-0 shutout at Princeton.

Junior standout Miles Polacheck provided one of the season's most memorable individual performances in the Princeton contest, scoring all three East goals in the first half. Polacheck converted a penalty kick just 18 seconds into the match before adding two more goals off excellent deliveries from teammate Tyler Duwell.

The Thunderhawks also celebrated seven seniors during their October 13 home finale: Nick Maslin, Cameron Witteride, Trevor Breslin, Nate Rudy, Mazen Hawas, Tucker Jones and Hilary Lanjo.

Congratulations to Coach Hilen, his coaching staff and the entire Lakota East Boys Soccer program on a successful 2026 season!

SEASON COMPLETE: East finishes 9-4-5 overall.
