Putter's Lakota East Athletes of the Week for 9/30/21

Jake is a senior on the East Boys Golf Team.
Jake just shot an even-par 71 at Wildwood CC last week, and then finished as a First Team ALL GMC player after firing a 78. Coach Combs said that Jake is the inspirational leader for the Hawks, “Jake has been such a joy to coach, and he makes our team better in so many ways. He is like having an extra coach around and I think he will be a great leader and coach in whatever career he chooses.” The Hawks are entering into the post-season stretch of their schedule and Jake’s experience, talent and calmness should help the Team perform their best.
ELLIE YEAZELL
Ellie is a senior on the East Girls Golf Team
Ellie had an outstanding GMC tourney experience. She shot a two-day score of 144 and placed 5th overall. She earned 1st Team All-GMC honors for her efforts. Ellie has been a 4-year player for the Thunderhawks and has been a steady leader for the Hawks all season.
