Congratulations to Jenna Schmidt (Golf) & Josh Harden (Golf)

JENNA SCHMIDT 

Lakota East Athletics proudly recognizes Jenna Schmidt, a sophomore, on the Girls Golf Team, as this week’s Putters Sports Grill Fall Athlete of the Week!

Jenna has been a steady force at the top of the Thunderhawks Girls Golf lineup, delivering an outstanding stretch of play over her last four competitive rounds with scores of 36, 76, 37, and 38. Her consistency and competitive spirit have made her the team’s #1 golfer, and she currently holds the #3 overall ranking in the Greater Miami Conference (GMC).

Jenna’s leadership and performance set the tone for the program as the Thunderhawks continue their strong fall season. Her commitment to improvement and ability to rise to the occasion against tough competition make her a standout student-athlete for Lakota East.

JOSH HARDEN 

Lakota East Athletics is proud to recognize Josh Harden, a sophomore, on the East Boys Golf Team, as this week’s Putters Sports Grill Fall Athlete of the Week!

Through the first half of the season, Josh is second on the team in average and carded his personal best back-to-back times at +4 in the Oakwood & Centerville Invitationals.  His stroke average is 7 shots better per round this season than last year.  He's played in, and his score has counted in every tournament for us this year.  Last year, as a Freshman, Josh played in 18 of our 20 events, and he is a cornerstone for us moving forward.
