Lakota East Boys Soccer is heading into postseason competition with plenty of momentum following consecutive shutout victories to close the regular season.

The Thunderhawks celebrated Senior Night on October 13 with a commanding 9–0 victory over Colerain. Senior Hilary Lanjo delivered a memorable performance, while Miles Polacheck helped ignite the offensive attack.

East followed with another impressive performance Thursday, October 15, blanking Princeton 3–0 on the road. Polacheck was sensational, recording a hat trick, including a penalty-kick goal just 18 seconds into the contest. Tyler Duwell provided assists on the final two goals.

The victories lifted East to 9–3–5 overall and 6–2–1 in GMC play, providing a strong finish to the regular season.

POSTSEASON NEXT: Tuesday, October 27, home vs. Walnut Hills, 7:15 p.m. The Hawks are the 8th seed. A district semi-final win against the Eagles will advance them to a District Title match versus the winner of Centerville or Middletown on 10/31 on Saturday, 10/31, at a neutral site.
