GIRLS TENNIS RUNNER-UP AT COACHES CLASSIC
The Hawk ladies tennis team competed in the annual Coach Classic this past week. East was runner-up in Coaches Classic - Flight C division. See scores below:

It was great competition, with a lot of very close matches and a TEAM effort that brought us success at the Coaches Classic.
Kelsey Retzsch at 3rd singles pulled out her third match win
finishing far into twilight.
Next up East will host Centerville this Wednesday for their final regular-season match.
The Greater Miami Conference Tennis Championships are on the horizon. The tournament is being held at Mason High School and administrated by the Princeton Athletic Administration. Day 1 competition begins on Thursday, September 30th at 8:00 AM with Day 2 competition continuing on Saturday, October 2nd at 9:00 AM. The established "rain date" is Sunday, October 3rd. The Mason Comets are the 6-time defending conference champions.
