GIRLS SOCCER EARNS ANOTHER WIN VS. SPRINGBORO

East Girls Soccer traveled to Springboro to take on the Panthers on Tuesday night.

The Varsity team matched the intensity of the Panthers on their home pitch.  In a back and forth game, the Hawks struck first when Erica Cox found the back of the net on a corner service from Mia Kamphuis.  Shortly after Lauren Sullivan sliced the Panther defense for the second goal. The Hawks conceded a goal to the Panthers on a free-kick just outside the 18 late in the game for a final score of 2-1 Hawks.

Lucy Carlin played a brilliant game-saving five shots on goal all well struck and dangerous opportunities by the Panthers.  

The Hawks travel to Anderson on Thursday night!  JV as of now is scheduled for 5 PM kick-off and Varsity is slated for 7 PM.  Game times might change due to heat restrictions.
