After a championship week on the golf course, the spotlight shifts to the gridiron tonight.

Lakota East Football takes its two-game winning streak on the road for another important Greater Miami Conference matchup at Hamilton.

The Thunderhawks enter tonight's contest 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the GMC after last Friday's thrilling 24-20 Homecoming victory over Mason. East has responded impressively since its Week 2 setback against Lakota West, earning consecutive conference victories over Oak Hills and Mason.

Junior quarterback Nile Knutson is coming off another strong performance, throwing for 218 yards and three touchdowns against the Comets. AJ Fitzstephens provided the late-game heroics, connecting on a 28-yard field goal in the final minute to help secure the victory.

Now the Thunderhawks take their momentum on the road.
