BROWNE LEADS HAWKS — MEYER BREAKS THROUGH!

Sophomore Alyssa Browne continued her outstanding season Saturday at the Fairmont Firebird Invitational, racing to a 12th-place finish in 19:12.5 and leading Lakota East to 11th place among 19 teams.

Freshman Lucy Meyer provided another highlight for the Thunderhawks, turning in a breakthrough performance of 22:10.2. Meyer has answered the call throughout her freshman season with consistent performances and took another big step forward at Fairmont.

The Hawks continue to build toward the GMC Championships with several runners showing encouraging progress.
