BROWNE LEADS EAST GIRLS XC

Sophomore Alyssa Browne continued her impressive season for Lakota East Girls Cross Country at last Saturday's Little Miami Invitational.

Browne raced to a seventh-place individual finish in 20:23.8, leading the Thunderhawks to a ninth-place team finish among 16 schools.

Sophomore Dorothy Specht also turned in another consistent performance, finishing in 22:08.7. Specht's first three race times of the season have all been within approximately 10 seconds of one another.

The Hawks now head under the lights for their next competition.

NEXT UP: East competes Saturday at the Troy Twilight Invitational.
