The Lakota East Men’s Soccer team earned a dominant 3-0 win over Middletown, improving to 2-1-1 (1-0-0 GMC) on the season. Senior Caleb Edwards opened the scoring in the 31st minute, slotting in a well-placed shot off a setup from sophomore Miles Polacheck.
Junior captain Tucker Jones added to the lead in the 71st minute, finishing a smooth assist from junior Mazen Hawas. Just four minutes later, sophomore Tyree Bikoko capped the scoring with a third goal, also assisted by Hawas—his second of the night.
Junior goalkeeper Nick Maslin recorded his second shutout of the season, anchoring a strong defensive performance by the Thunderhawks.
Lakota East will look to keep the momentum going when they travel to Fairfield on Thursday, September 4.
