BOYS CROSS COUNTRY WINS AT KINGS DUAL!
East Boys CC got a much-needed win this past Saturday at the King's Duals.
The Thunderhawks were paired up with a very equal team in the King's Knights. In the 54-man field, senior Will Tenoever closed fast narrowly missed winning the entire race by placing 2nd overall. Will’s time was 16:56.1 for the 5k (3.1-mile) course.
Junior, Tyler Linam, placed 4th overall in 17:22.2 as the #2 man for the Hawks. Senior, Ashton Gibbs, ran a great 2nd half of the race and came back to place 5th overall in 17:26.4.
Next across the line for East was junior Marshall Novean, who placed 6th overall in 17:32.1. The 5th and final scorer for the Thunderhawks was junior Sean Castillo who placed 7th overall in 17:37.6.
Next up for Lakota East Cross Country is the Greater Miami Conference Championships on October 16th at Voice of America Park in West Chester, OH.
