BOYS BASKETBALL SEASON COMES TO AN END

HAWKS FALL TO WEST IN SECTIONAL
Lakota East Boys Basketball couldn't overcome a 20-2 run by West in the Friday night Sectional final, falling 73-59 and ending their season. In the first two minutes of the game, East jumped out to a 6-0 advantage, they could only score two more points in the next 7 minutes. The Hawks fought the birds till the end but it just wasn't their night.
East ends a great season going 18-5 overall and 13-3 (3rd in GMC). The team says goodbye to some very worthy seniors: Nate Adkins, Jadon Coles, Kyle Poppe, Charlie Kenrich, JT Terry, Daniel Mulumba, and Kobe Peck. Their contributions to the Hawk Basketball program will never be forgotten.
