BOYS BASKETBALL DEFEATS BIG BLUE AND HONORS SEVEN SENIORS
East Boys Basketball ended their regular season on Friday night with a 58-47 win over Hamilton at home. The contest was a battle, but East prevailed to finish the GMC in third place, one game behind the GMC leaders Fairfield and Sycamore.
Leaders for East: Kobe Peck 20, Charlie Kenrich 12, and Nate Adkins 10.
East boys paid tribute to a strong group of seniors who have given so much to the Hawks Basketball program over the past four years. Honored were: Jadon Coles, Nate Adkins, Charlie Kenrich, JT Terry, Kobe Peck, Kyle Poppe, and Daniel Mulumba.
East (16-4) will begin tourney play this Saturday at Lakota West when they meet West Clermont in a 1:00 tip-off.
The winner advances to play Winton Woods on 2/22, 6:00 pm at West Clermont.
