WRESTLING TAKES DOWN WEST!

Wednesday, 1/10 was a great night of wrestling by EAST wrestlers at all levels, making it an exciting night for our wrestling PROGRAM. The Hawks visited district rival Lakota West and came away with a big win. 

The varsity Thunderhawks wrestled their way to a final score of:

EAST 45      West 30

The key match of the night was the pin by Sherbek Ruzimurodov in the 144 match.   KJ McAdams, Cohen Reip, and DJ Stanley secured the team victory by winning three of the last four matches wrestled. 

Our youth team won their dual meet 40-29.  The JV Thunderhawks dominated by winning 16 of the 22 matches wrestled.  Several JV wrestlers won both of their matches.  Outstanding effort from Alex Ramsey and Kevin Huang.
