HAWKS EXTEND 6-GAME WINNING STREAK!
The Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks improved their GMC record to 8-0 with a 6-3 win over visiting Hamilton on Monday. After trailing early 2-0, Juju Sudnik put East ahead with a big 2-out 2-run single in the bottom of the 3rd.
The Thunderhawks added additional runs in the 4th and 5th. Addison Morath and Audrey Kasselman had two hits apiece to pace the offense. Kaleigh Crawford collected her 9th win of the season with 7 strong innings. She collected 8 strikeouts, including her 300th career strikeout, during the game.

Lakota East Varsity Softball extended its winning streak to six games with a 15-3 victory over Princeton on Tuesday, 4/21. Seven East players recorded hits, and six drove in runs. Maddie Offner drove in 2 with her 3rd home run of the season, and Makayla Brown picked up her first varsity hit with a 4th inning RBI single.
Karli Damen started and picked up the win with 3 strong innings. Mila Crawford pitched the last 2 innings to complete the combined 5-hitter.
The Thunderhawks improved to 14-3 overall and 9-0 in the GMC. Their season continues on Wednesday with a visit to Oak Hills.
