Softball Wins Two More!
Lakota East Softball opened its home schedule with a 5–1 win over Springboro on 3/26, backed by an error-free defensive effort and a dominant pitching performance from Kaleigh Crawford. Crawford allowed just three hits and one run over seven innings while the offense took advantage of Springboro miscues. Kaylor Schultz, Yorie Schulte, Juju Sudnik, and Molly Pittman each crossed the plate as East improved to 3–2 on the season.

East carried that momentum into GMC play on 4/1, earning a 6–1 win over Oak Hills. The Thunderhawks broke the game open with a five-run fifth inning, fueled by a flurry of hits and a walk. East collected extra-base hits from Schulte (double), Maddie Offner (double), Haley Thompson (double), and Crawford (triple), while Addison Morath added two hits. Crawford was once again dominant in the circle, striking out 14 while allowing just one run over seven innings.
With the win, Lakota East extended its streak to four games and improved to 4–2 on the season. The Thunderhawks host Mount Notre Dame today, April 6, followed by a district matchup with Lakota West on Tuesday.
