SOFTBALL EXTENDS WINNING STREAK TO 7!

HAWKS DOWN COLERAIN!

Lakota East Varsity Softball extended its winning streak to 7 with a 17-7 win at Colerain. The offense carried the day again with 17 run on 17 hits. Senior Molly Pittman led the way with 3 hits. Haley Thompson and Mila Crawford each contributed 2 hits; both players also hit a home run and drove in 4 runs. It was a well-rounded offensive effort with 12 different Thunderhawks reaching base. Karli Damen started and picked up the win. She also collected her 100th career strikeout along the way. Mila Crawford pitched 2 2/3 innings of scoreless relief to finish the game for East.

Next up for East SB (7-2, 3-0) is a home game with Mason on Friday, 4/10, in a battle of the last two GMC teams without a conference loss. Both teams are 3-0 to date in the GMC.
