Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks defeated Princeton 21-1 on Monday thanks to 13 runs in the third inning.  Leah Arnett, Halina Schulte, Hailey Hensley, Tessa Koziel, Amber Munoz, and  Krystalin Wagner all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks got things moving in the first inning when Ella Bauman tripled on a 3-0 count, scoring one run. Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks notched 13 runs in the third inning.  Arnett, Schulte, Hensley, Koziel, Munoz, and  Wagner powered the big inning with RBIs.

Kaitlyn Haiber pitched Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks to victory. The fireballer allowed four hits and one run over five innings, striking out four and walking zero. Pates took the loss for Princeton. The bulldog went five innings, allowing 21 runs on 24 hits, striking out two, and walking zero.

Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks had 24 hits in the game.  Koziel, Hensley, Haiber, Arnett, Bauman, Schulte, and Munoz all collected multiple hits for Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks.  Hensley and Koziel all had four hits to lead Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks.  Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks didn't commit a single error in the field. Hensley had five chances in the field, the most on the team.

Next up, East (5-10, 4-5) will host Colerain TODAY, Wednesday, 4/19.
