Putter's Lakota East Athletes of the Week for 4/20/23
GRANT SIMER
Grant is a sophomore on the East Boys Volleyball Team
Grant is a right-side hitter for the Hawks. He is a hard-working athlete that has grown a lot over the course of fewer than two years in the program. He is currently third in the conference in kills with 151 and 6th in the conference in blocks at 27. Grant has become an integral part of the Thunderhawk's early and continued success.
ANDREW VASS
Andrew is a senior on the East Boys Tennis Team
Lakota East Senior Tennis Player Andrew Vass has started the season strong at first singles
going 8-1 in his first nine matches. Andrew's style combines hard-hitting mixed with a finesse that keeps his opponents off balance. He also integrates maximum effort with sportsmanship during matches which leaves him admired by many. Andrew is hoping to have a good showing in post-season play this year.
