Putter's Lakota East Athletes of the Week for 12/9/21
MADISON FRENCH
Madison is a junior on the East Girls Basketball Team.
Madison had a tremendous game against Mason last week. She scored all 17 of her points in the first half to help lead East to an upset win over the Comets. French is coming off an outstanding sophomore season when she was named 1st Team All-GMC.
SEAN HUGGINS
Sean is a junior on the East Chess Team
Sean came into the chess season with very little experience at the varsity level. However, Sean quickly showed how much he improved during the offseason and earned the honor of representing East at the first board where he competes against the best in the GMC at each match. Sean compiled a 9-5 record and was awarded GMC first-team honors for his success this season.
