Putters Athletes of the Week for 5/22/25

Lakota East Athletics is proud to recognize Mercer Mills, a junior on the East Boys Tennis Team, as this week’s Putters Sports Grill Spring Athlete of the Week!
Mercer is wrapping up a strong 2025 spring season for the Thunderhawks, showcasing consistency and competitiveness on the court. His performance at the GMC Championships earned him Third Team All-GMC honors, a well-deserved recognition of his hard work and dedication.
The Hawks are excited to have Mercer return for his senior season in 2026, where he’ll no doubt play a key role in helping the team remain one of the top contenders in the league.

CARSON BERLING
Lakota East Athletics proudly recognizes Carson Berling, a junior on the Boys Volleyball Team, as this week’s Putters Sports Grill Spring Athlete of the Week!
Carson serves as the libero and team captain, bringing unmatched energy, leadership, and enthusiasm to the Thunderhawk volleyball program. A key force in the back row, Carson has been a cornerstone of the team’s serve, receive, and defensive efforts all season long. He has maintained an impressive 2.12 serve receive rating and has tallied 203 total digs to date.
Carson’s impact on the court is undeniable, and we look forward to seeing all he continues to accomplish in his senior season and beyond at Lakota East.
