Lakota East Athletics Recognizes 30 College Signers at Special Spring Event
The Lakota East Athletic Department proudly hosted its annual Spring College Signing Event on Friday morning at the high school. Friends, family, coaches, and staff gathered to celebrate the outstanding achievements of 30 Thunderhawk seniors who have committed to continuing their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level.
For student-athletes, earning the opportunity to compete at the next level represents a true “dream come true.” These moments are the result of years of dedication, perseverance, and sacrifice. The commitment shown by both the athletes and their families reflects the culmination of countless hours of training, competition, and support.
Sports represented during this special event included basketball, volleyball, baseball, cross country, track, soccer, rowing, football, softball, golf, and lacrosse.
Collectively, these student-athletes have earned thousands of dollars in scholarship support and will continue their journeys at colleges and universities—both public and private—across the country.
