HAYES LEADS HAWKS THROUGH TOUGH INVITATIONAL STRETCH

Lakota East Boys Golf continues to battle some of the area's best competition during a demanding early-season schedule.

At the St. Xavier Invitational, East shot a team score of 305, led by senior Brody Hayes' outstanding 69. Joshua Harden added a 74.

Hayes again led the way at the Moeller Invitational, shooting an even-par 72 as East posted a 316 team score. The Hawks followed that with an impressive 301 at the Springboro Invitational, where Hayes fired a 71, Ethan Keller 74 and Harden 76.

Hayes has been remarkably consistent at the top of the East lineup and has already committed to continue his golf career at Wright State University.

NEXT UP: The Hawks compete in the Alter Invitational on Monday, August 24, followed by Mason on Thursday and the Bellbrook Invitational on Saturday.
