Lakota East Girls Soccer combined a meaningful evening off the field with an impressive performance on it Monday.

The East program honored individuals and families affected by breast cancer, wearing pink, raising money for families in need and concluding the evening with a luminary lighting.

The Hawks then delivered a convincing 5-0 victory over Princeton.

Anna Schnelle, Lauren Dodd, Gianna Perry, Maya Slayton and Gabbi Corbett each found the back of the net for East.

The Thunderhawks returned to action the following evening at Harrison, falling 4-2. East now stands 7-6-2 overall and 4-3-1 in the GMC heading into the final two matches of the regular season.

NEXT UP: East travels to Colerain Tuesday, Oct. 13, before returning home to face Little Miami on Oct. 15.
