GIRLS WRESTLING RECENT UPDATES

1/3/2026 The Ladyhawks competed in the Marysville Duals.  9 teams from across the state came together to compete.  The Ladyhawks' results are:

Ladyhawks'

Harrison 54 - Lakota East 24

Lebanon 60 - Lakota East 13

Oak Hills 42 - Lakota East 24

Fremont Ross 60 - Lakota East 24

Brush 30 - Lakota East 24

River Valley 33 - Lakota East 30

The results were not what we wanted as a team; many individuals performed well. Current winning records for the Ladyhawks:

Makirah Hall 16 - 6

Jorja Lunkenheimer 15 - 5

Sammy Fritzsche 14-7

Corinna Sowah 12-7

Scarlet Frentzel 7-5

The Lakota East Ladyhawks traveled to Olentangy Orange High School this past weekend to compete in the Pioneer Classic Girls Wrestling Tournament. 

East placed 13th out of a field of 61.  Corinna Sowah placed 3rd at 155, Jorja Lunkenheimer placed 7th, Makirah Hall placed 7th, and Scarlett Frentzel placed 8th.

The Ladyhawks travel to Jackson High School to compete in the Brown’s Brothers Invitational Wrestling Tournament on Sunday, 1/18/2026.
