GIRLS SWIM/DIVE SOUTHWEST CLASSIC RESULTS

East Swim/Dive was at the Ohio Southwest Classic meet this past weekend.  This meet is a prelim and finals meet, with the top 16 swimmers from 12 different sites making it back to finals.  The meet has grown into the largest high school invitational in the U.S., with approximately 2,500-3,000 athletes from as many as 120 schools, all of which are within the boundaries of the SW District in Ohio, which includes 15 counties. 

Making it back to finals Saturday:

Girls 400 Medley relay placing 13th overall (Bailey Bacher, Ella Witkowski, Jocelyn Squibb, Emmy Hollo)

Ella Witkowski placing 12th overall in the 400 IM with a 4:48.90, 10th overall in the 200 breast with a 2:26.23

Bailey Bacher placed 14th overall in the 50 free with a 25.19

Girls 200 free relay placing 12th overall (Ella Witkowski, Jocelyn Squibb, Emmy Hollo, Bailey Bacher)

Making it back to finals Sunday:

Girls 200 Medley relay placing 15th overall (Bailey Bacher, Ella Witkowski, Jocelyn Squibb, Emmy Hollo)

Ella Witkowski placed 5th overall in the 100 breast with a 1:06.32

Girls 400 free relay placing 11th overall (Ella Witkowski, Jocelyn Squibb, Emmy Hollo, Bailey Bacher)

Finals scores: Girls 18th with 63 points

Next up is a tri-meet at Mason on Friday, 1/23.
