GIRLS SOCCER PLAYS TO DRAW WITH AVES

The Hawk Girls Soccer team traveled to Sycamore on Tuesday night for a GMC matchup.
The Varsity squad managed to claw out a tie with a motivated Aves squad. Junior Erica Cox led the Hawks with a goal and an assist. Junior Macy Collins tallied the other goal as the night ended in a 2-2 draw.
The Junior Varsity squad started the night with an injury-depleted squad and although managing to control possession for most of the match, came away with a loss.
Hawks return to action on Saturday, September 18, versus state-ranked Summit Country Day. JV kicks off at 5 pm and Varsity at 7 pm.
