Molly Deardorff All-Ohio Again!

The Lakota East Girls Cross Country Team finished their season on a high note last Saturday, achieving an impressive 14th place at the Division I State Championships. This performance highlights the team's dedication and talent throughout the season.

Senior Molly Deardorff concluded her stellar career with an outstanding 13th place finish, earning her second first-team All-Ohio honors. Her remarkable consistency and leadership have been pivotal to the team's success.

Freshman Alyssa Browne also shone brightly, battling her way to a commendable 39th-place finish and securing second-team All-Ohio accolades. Her strong performance not only reflects her individual talent but also promises a bright future for the team.

The efforts of all team members—including Ava Dickenson, Elise Brown, Megan Hoffman, Brooks Billingsley, Ava Kidd, Maddie Still, and Dorothy Specht—were instrumental in making this season one to remember. Each runner contributed to a collective effort that showcased their hard work, resilience, and sportsmanship.

Congratulations to all the runners and coaches on a truly exceptional season! Your dedication and commitment have inspired not only each other but the entire Lakota East community. We look forward to witnessing more great achievements in the future!
