The Lakota East Thunderhawks delivered a dominant performance in a 50–3 win over Middletown last Friday, controlling the game with stifling defense, strong rebounding, and balanced scoring from start to finish.
Bella Sturgill paced the Thunderhawks with a game-high 16 points and 7 rebounds, asserting herself on both ends of the floor, while Payton Buker added 10 points and a team-best 3 steals to fuel the transition game. Isadore McCune contributed 9 points with efficient shooting and steady play, and Maddie Manzardo provided a big boost off the bench with 7 points, helping Lakota East maintain momentum throughout the game as the Thunderhawks cruised to an emphatic victory.
