GIRLS' BASKETBALL BLASTS BIG BLUE
HAWKS VS. COMETS FOR THE GMC TITLE ON SATURDAY!
The senior class put on a show vs Hamilton on their big day! The Hawks stomp on Hamilton 70-23 on Senior Night. Lakota East Girls Basketball honored Celina Blount, Emma Fohl, and Sidney Zawila in their big GMC victory.
Celina Blount led with 23 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 blocks! Emma Fohl finished with 15 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. Sidney Zawila put up 6 points while grabbing 5 steals and 2 rebounds. Together, the Hawks had 24 steals on the night!
For the 2nd season in a row, East (14-7, 13-2) travels to Mason on Saturday for their last regular season game, and for a chance at the GMC Conference Title!
East drew the #10 seed for the upcoming Sectional Tourney. They have a first-round bye that will open up on Thursday, 2/22 at Middletown, 5:30 pm vs. either Withrow or Talawanda.
