Lakota East claimed a resounding 34-7 victory over the Fairfield Indians last Friday. The contest marked the Thunderhawks' most dominant win of the season.
The Hawks pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory (3-2 GMC), which was their sixth straight win at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 37.8 points this season. As for Fairfield, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record.
East senior Ryder Hooks continued is rampage running with 188 yards on 23 carries. Hooks also caught three passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns.
Patrick MacFarlane and Carter Jones were also on the receiving end of TDs from Nile Knutson (16/25 for 292 yards, four TDs). Knutson had passing TDs of 33, 57, 32 ,and 23 yards on the night.
Daulton Chaney had 7 solo tackles on defense.
