El Caporal Team of the Week: Girls Track and Field Team
El Caporal, a staple of the Lakota and Mason communities known for its authentic Mexican cuisine and warm hospitality, is excited to announce the Team of the Week initiative, designed to celebrate outstanding local athletic teams for their achievements and contributions to the community.
El Caporal is proud to recognize the Lakota East Varsity Girls Track & Field Team as this week’s Team of the Week!
The East Girls Track & Field team is making a major impact this spring with impressive performances both on the track and in the field. The Hawks earned 1st place at the prestigious Wayne Invitational, standing out with numerous top finishes in a highly competitive field. They also took 1st place at their own East Invitational on April 15th.
With momentum on their side, the team is now focused on the GMC Championships and a strong postseason run.
Led by Head Coach Rodney Heath, the program continues to thrive through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to excellence.
