El Caporal Team of the Week: Boys Golf Team
The Lakota East Boys Golf Team turned in another outstanding performance this past week, showcasing both talent and composure on the course. Competing Tuesday and Wednesday at Walden Ponds, the Hawks rose to the occasion and earned the runner-up trophy in the highly competitive 2025 GMC Championships. Their strong play and sportsmanship were on full display throughout the event.
This season, East has consistently proven itself against tough fields. The Hawks placed 4th out of 20 teams at the Hadley Invitational and earned a strong 5th-place finish at the prestigious Springboro Invitational. Their consistency and depth have made them one of the top programs in the region this fall.
The Hawks are guided by Head Coach Joe Robertson, whose leadership has been instrumental in the team’s success.
