EAST BOYS GOLF TAKES SECOND AT BEST OF THE WEST

Lakota East Boys Golf continued its outstanding season Sunday with another impressive tournament showing at the Best of the West Invitational.

The Hawks fired a team score of 303, finishing runner-up by just one stroke to Springboro's winning 302.

Senior standout Brody Hayes once again led East, shooting a 72 to finish fifth overall. Ethan Keller added a strong round of 77 to place 15th.

The performance came just days after East finished runner-up at the GMC Championships, where Hayes captured the individual conference championship and was named GMC Player of the Year.

The Hawks continue to build momentum as the OHSAA Sectional postseason approaches on Tuesday, 9/22.
