EAST BOYS CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES AT TROY TWILIGHT

Lakota East Boys Cross Country turned in a solid effort Saturday evening at the Troy Twilight Invitational.

Due to flooding, the course was shortened to a 4K, but the Thunderhawks adjusted well to the last-minute change. Junior Jacob Turner led East, finishing 20th overall in 13:06.4 and helping the Hawks place 17th among 28 teams.

Sophomore Dan Kim provided another highlight in his return to competition. After missing the past few meets, Kim came back strong with an impressive 14:42.4, an equivalent season-best performance.

Next up for East is the Fairmont Firebird Invite on Saturday, 9/26.
