Chess Team Checkmates Oak Hills

The Chess team traveled to Oak Hills to face the  Highlanders yesterday in a battle for third place in the GMC.   The Hawks won in dominating fashion, grabbing a 4-1 victory and sweeping the JV boards as well.   Logan Kilgore, Shrey Rana, Tyler Hubbard and Murat Bayraktar all secured points for the Hawks.

EAST CHESS SEASON IS HERE

The East boys and girls chess team have been actively competing since October 23rd. They are currently 6-2 overall, good for 3rd place in the GMC.

The Hawks will host Lakota West on Thursday, 11/20, for their regular-season finale. The GMC Tournament is slated for Tuesday, Dec. 2nd at Sycamore.
