Varsity B @ Blanchester Dual meet tournament Dec 19 & 20
A mixed squad of younger varsity wrestlers and JV wrestlers competed in the 9-team dual meet tournament over the weekend. Our Thunderhawks won all 8 dual meets and earned the CHAMPIONSHIP. 1st year wrestler Cohen Braden earned the most outstanding wrestler award by winning all 8 of his matches, 6 by pin.

Varsity @ Coaches Classic Dec 20 & 21
Eight Thunderhawks competed in the incredibly difficult 48-team SWOWCA Coaches’ Classic on Saturday and Sunday. Seven Hawks earned at least one win. Brady Dillon continues to wrestle well. He wrestled his way to an 8th-place finish in his bracket.

Varsity Boys fall to Fairfield 21-50 on Saturday, 1/3
The varsity team continued to struggle on Saturday, only winning 4 matches out of 14. First-year wrestler, Berry Abdelnabi, showed what hard work in practice can accomplish. Berry pinned his opponent in the second period. Kevin Huang wrestled very tough in the top position and earned a tech fall 16-0. Brady Dillon continues to have success. Brady earned a major decision over one of the top wrestlers for the Indians. Heavyweight Cameron Wells was dominant. Getting a pin in the first period.
Next up for the varsity is a match at Wilmington on Wed. 1/7.
