BOYS WRESTLING SENDS STANLEY TO STATE!
East Boy's Wrestling competed well this past Saturday at Districts at Fairmont. Six Thunderhawks competed at the event. See the highlights and a recap below:
Freshman Brady Dillon finished a great freshman season with 26 wins and 15 losses.
Sophomore Evan Malay finished his season with a record of 23 wins and 19 losses.
Junior Cohen Reip finished another outstanding season with 33 wins and 11 losses. Cohen was one win away from being a two-time district placer.
Senior Captain Tyler Epstein finished his season with a record of 30 wins and 13 losses. Tyler finishes his solid career as a Thunderhawk with 94 wins and 58 pins. Tyler did an outstanding job leading our young team all season.
Junior DJ Stanley earned the right to be called a STATE qualifier with a late takedown against his rival from Sycamore. DJ will compete this weekend at the Value City Arena in the Schottenstein Center on the campus of Ohio State University.
