Boys Volleyball on to Regional Semi-Final!

The Thunderhawks of Lakota East celebrated a 3-0 straight sets win over Milford in the OHSAA Division I, Region 4, boys volleyball quarterfinals, May 16, 2025. Final scores were: 25-23, 25-11, 25-13.

The Hawks (22-2) advance to the Regional Semi-Final match on Wednesday, 5/21 at St. Xavier at 6:00 pm.

The Hawks were victorious Wednesday night in a 3-set sweep (25-20, 25-12, 25-17) of the Lakota West Firebirds in the opening round of the OHSAA tournament. The Hawks were led on offense by sophomore setter and outsider hitter, Austin Dreher, who had 13 kills and 13 assists on the night. Junior defensive specialist, Carson Berling, led the way on defense with a 2.37 serve receive average and 11 digs on the night. Freshman setter, Jude Callahan, had 4 aces to lead the team from the serving line.

The Hawks are back in action Friday night as they host the Milford Eagles in round 2 of the OHSAA tournament. Game time is at 6pm. We hope to see you there!
