BOYS TRACK SEASON RESULTS AND UPDATES

Lakota East Boys Track & Field turned in a strong stretch of performances across three early-season meets, highlighted by multiple top finishes and steady team results.

At the Ross Invite (4/1), East placed 7th overall. Chris Leverette led the way with a runner-up finish in the 100 (11.50), while Jeremiah White added an 8th-place finish in the same event. Mason Straub took 6th in the 200, and the 4x800 relay team posted a time of 10:00.01.

The Thunderhawks improved to a 5th-place team finish at Edgewood (4/2), with several standout individual performances. Camden Pham dominated the hurdles, winning the 300 hurdles (40.46) and placing 2nd in the 110 hurdles (16.57). Leverette added a 3rd-place finish in the 200 (23.84), while Lauren Dodd placed 2nd in the 400. Elijah Grissom and Reilly Meyer contributed key distance points, with Meyer finishing 3rd in the 3200. The relay teams also added solid finishes, including 4th place in both the 4x100 and 4x400.

East continued its upward momentum with a 4th-place finish at the Loveland Invite. Reilly Meyer led the distance crew with a 2nd-place finish in the 1600 and 3rd in the 3200, while Camden Pham placed 3rd in the 400. The sprint relays were a major strength, with runner-up finishes in both the 4x100 and 4x200, and a 3rd-place finish in the 4x400. In the field events, Cooper Henry took 2nd in discus, with Jack Snider finishing 3rd, and Snider also added a 5th-place finish in shot put.

Lakota East will look to build on this momentum Saturday, April 11, at the Princeton Invite.
