BOYS SWIM/DIVE SECTIONAL CHAMPS!
Congratulations to the Lakota East Boys Swimming and Diving Team on securing a Sectional Title this past weekend at Princeton HS. See the record-breaking details below:
New Princeton Sectional Records:
Braden Fuller 100 fly with a 50.71.
Boys 200 free relay with a 1:28.24 (Braden Fuller, Carter Ott, Aidan Fuller, Aiden Hill)
Boys 400 free relay with a 3:13.71 (Braden Fuller, Carter Ott, Aidan Fuller, Aiden Hill). **This was also a new Princeton High School Pool Record.
Boys advanced to Districts:
200 Medley Relay (Ryan Walter, Ricky Unger, Vincent Lievestro, Michael Herr)
200 Free: Aidan Fuller, Ryan Walter
50 Free: Braden Fuller, Carter Ott, Aiden Hill
100 Fly: Braden Fuller, Vincent Lievestro, Aiden Hill, Ricky Unger
100 Free: Carter Ott, Aidan Fuller
500 Free: Vincent Lievestro, Ryan Walter
200 Free Relay (Braden Fuller, Carter Ott, Aidan Fuller, Aiden Hill)
100 Breast: Ricky Unger
400 Free Relay (Braden Fuller, Carter Ott, Aidan Fuller, Aiden Hill)
Next up for East is the District Championships and possible state advancement at Miami University on Saturday, 2/21.
Division I Advancers to State
The District Tournament will automatically qualify three (3) in each swimming event to the State Meet, with twenty (20) at large qualifiers that will be selected on the basis of times recorded in the District Meet. At District diving, a cut to 20 divers will be made after 5 dives and 16 divers after 8 dives. Representation for the State Diving Tournaments shall be calculated based on the entries for this current season.
