BOYS' GOLF WINS SECTIONAL!

HAWKS ADVANCE TO DISTRICT!

East Boys Golf are the 2023 Sectional Champions. The Hawks ended the tourney tied with Moeller for first but won the Sectional in a 5th-score playoff thanks to Logan Spagnuolo's score of 79. The title was truly a total team championship. East shot a team score of 301. Nick Collins was huge with his best round of the year! See scores below:

Huge thanks to Coach Vandy and Coach Erb for steering and cheering our Hawks. 

East Boys Golf competes next along with 15 other teams at Wednesday's Boys D1 District Qualifier at Heatherwoode, where the top 3 teams and top 3 individuals not on a qualifying team will advance to the State Championship. 

East has won District Titles in 2008, 2018, and 2019. Last year they missed qualifying to state by 5 strokes narrowly missing a 7th consecutive trip to state.
