BOYS CROSS COUNTRY 4th MILFORD INVITE

The top 5 varsity men’s teams at the Milford Invitational were only separated by 28 points.  The Lakota East men’s team placed 4th despite not having one of their top athletes (Ashton Gibbs) in the lineup.  

Senior, Will Tenoever, continued to be the #1 man for the Thunderhawks placing 11th overall in a 197-man field.  Will continued to inch towards his personal record time from 2020 by running 16:44.6 for the 5k (3.1-mile) course.  Junior, Marshall Novean also ran a season-best time of 17:04 to place 19th overall in the race. 

First-year runner, Tyler Linam (junior) was the third Hawk across the line in 17:19 which earned him 32nd place overall.  Sean Castillo (junior) ran a huge personal-best time of 17:35 to place 44th overall as the #4 man for East.  Rounding out the scoring for Lakota East was junior, Jake Boeskool, who placed 55th overall in a personal-best performance of 17:41.

Next up for the Lakota East Cross Country is the Princeton Invitational on Saturday, September 25th at Landmark Christian Campus.
