BOYS CC 7th AT WARRIOR INVITE

This past Saturday, the East Boys CC team ran an aggressive race to place 7th in a 20-team field at the Lebanon warrior invite.  The team was missing a couple of their top runners at this event.  

Senior, Will Tenoever was the first Thunderhawk under 17:00 this year with his 16:53 finish for the 5k (3.1 mile) course.  That effort placed Tenoever 7th overall in a large, 204-runner field. 

Junior, Tyler Linam had a break-out performance Saturday running a huge personal best time of 17:34 for 28th place.  Junior, Jake Boeskool placed 48th overall in 18:04 as the #3 Hawk across the line.  Sean Castillo, junior, was close behind in 54th place in 18:13. 

Rounding out the scoring for East was junior Nick Boeskool, who placed 56th overall in 18:13 as well. 

East CC will compete this coming Saturday at the Troy Twilight Invite.
