The Hawks defeated Hamilton Big Blue 47-41 on Friday, 12/19. East outscored Hamilton 15-7 in the final frame to record the win. Brody Hayes led East with 18 points.

East Boys traveled to Florida for a Holiday Tournament on December 27-29. The Hawks went 2-1 at the event. See recaps below:

Saturday, 12/27

East 64 Land O' Lakes HS 38

The Hawks were led in scoring by Brady Bowman (17) and J.J. Smith (12). Smith recorded a double-double with 10 caroms.

East 52 Franklin, Wisconsin 30

East pulled away from Franklin early in the game and never looked back. Brady Bowman (14) and Luke Shaw (11) led East in the win.

Brecksville 34 East 33

The Hawks advance to the final round but fell in a defensive struggle. Bowman (15 and Shaw (11) were the East leaders.

The Hawks (6-3, 3-2) return to the hardwood on Friday, 1/9, at Oak Hills.
